Key Technologies: The aerodynamic head (360° air flow) produces faster clubhead speed by reducing drag. It generates less spin and a lower ball flight than the original SQ Machspeed for longer drives. The "STR8-FIT" adjustable face-angle technology provides eight options from 2° open to 2° closed. The round head is meant for golfers who seek more workability.
OUR TESTERS SAY: Easy-to-swing club suits a broad range of handicaps. Definite improvement over previous Machspeed driver.
PROS
DISTANCE: Not the longest but several testers experience good, honest output with no surprises.
ACCURACY/FORGIVENESS: Directional misses are minimal when properly fit using the adjustability feature; does a good job of keeping you out of trouble.
FEEL: Soft feedback in the hands but a loud "crack" or "clank" might fool you into thinking it's a hard hit.
PLAYABILITY: Face adjustability allows testers to swing away with confidence; several testers experience a medium-high, straightish ball flight.
LOOK: Big, all-black head is all business, looks mean, powerful.
CONS
A minority of testers seeks longer distance; a few want "pop" or springy feel; some find the face slightly closed in neutral setting.

Key Technologies: Head profile reduces drag by forcing air to move quickly over and around the club, for faster clubhead speed. "STR8-FIT" technology enables you to fit the driver for one of eight clubface positions, from 2° open to 2° closed.
OUR TESTERS SAY: High marks for overall forgiveness. Clubhead adjustability is a welcome sight, especially for golfers who need slice correction.
PROS
DISTANCE: Holds its own on off-center hits; changing face angle produces more carry or roll, depending on what your needs are.
ACCURACY/FORGIVENESS: Promotes stability and forgiveness on off-center hits; large effective hitting area helps shots find the fairway.
FEEL: Impact is soft and satisfying; loud, aluminum bat sound gives loads of feedback on well-struck shots.
PLAYABILITY: Higher-than-normal flight and a draw bias makes the club a good choice for golfers with a lot of right in their game.
LOOK: Sleek, stealth-like all-black clubhead and shaft make it the Darth Vader of drivers; square shape gives illusion of a larger sweet spot and more mass behind the face.
CONS
Some testers don't care for its boxy head or high-pitched impact sound; STR8-FIT technology can be confusing with all the different face angle and lie combinations.
It's for: All handicap levels
The square-shaped aerodynamic clubhead is larger (in breadth and face area) than its predecessor to boost ball speed across more of the face. Updates to the "PowerBow" (it wraps around the toe), tapered heel, and Y-shaped sole diffuser maintain clubhead speed while increasing ball speed. The SQ Machspeed Black also comes in a large round-headed version that offers plenty of stability, forgiveness and power. Both models feature STR8-FIT adjustable face-angle technology.
