Category: Better-Player Hybrids
We tested: 19° and 21° with Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana Kai'li 80 graphite shaft; 17°, 19° and 21° with Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana 'Ahina 90 graphite shaft.
Key Technologies: The "SureFit Tour" dual-angle hosel offers 16 settings to independently customize loft and lie, and to optimize ball flight via both trajectory and directional bias.
OUR TESTERS SAY: Among the highest-rated clubs tested; these deliver shotmaking versatility and produce plenty of distance.
PROS
PLAYABILITY: Testers can definitely work shots in both directions; great for trajectory control, although the 910H tends to produce a boring flight.
ACCURACY/FORGIVENESS: Well-struck shots are quite precise; adequate correction on off-center hits.
DISTANCE: Above-average length with extreme consistency; no huge losses on mis-hits.
FEEL: Provides a strong and forceful sensation at impact; not a lot of twisting of the clubhead through the ball.
LOOK: One of the testers' favorites - beautiful, classy appearance that sits square at address.
CONS
Not the most forgiving of the group; some find that it could perform better from the rough.
