We tested: 50°/6°, 52°/8°, 54°/10°, 56°/12°, 58°/8°, 60°/8° with True Temper Dynamic Gold stiff-flex steel shaft

Key Technologies: The CNC-milled grooves provide max spin under the new Rules. An etched pattern on the face aids playability from rough or wet grass. The milled pattern biases the direction of ball impact (improves contact) on open-face shots.

OUR TESTERS SAY: Reliable, no-frills clubs from the brand that helped pioneer the sand wedge.

PROS

PLAYABILITY: Admirable around the greens and from rough and sand; pretty versatile for those who want to manufacture shots.

DISTANCE CONTROL: Fairly consistent on well-struck full shots; predictable around the greens.

FEEL: Heavy, stable feel through the ball; reasonably pleasing sensation with adequate feedback on most shots.

LOOK: Attractive "old school" appearance - nice shape with a round toe, tall heel and brushed finish that reduces glare.

CONS

Doesn't stand out from the pack; a bit shorter than others on full shots; a few feel there's not as much spin as others.
